Cube (Rotenone)

The root of the barbasco plant contains compounds such as rotenone, used in agriculture as a natural insecticide and in fishing to stun fish. It has also been utilized in both traditional and modern medicine

Tara or Caesalpinia Spinosa is a legume native to Peru. Powdered tara, tara gum and tara germ are obtained from its pods. These derivatives have applications in the textile, food and pharmaceutical industries.

Brazil nuts

Brazil nuts, also known as Para nuts, are cultivated as one of the most traded nuts in the world.

By consuming Peruvian Brazil nuts, you are contributing to the protection of the Amazon rainforest and supporting the livelihoods of forest-based communities. The collection and sale of Brazil nuts and their derivatives also provide a significant source of income for many forest-based communities.

Our Brazil nuts (Bertholletia excelsa) are harvested, processed, and manufactured in the Peruvian Amazon region of Madre de Dios.

It is a shrub with highly branched roots found in the Andes of Peru. The used part of this plant is the root, which is employed in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications, specifically in dental care products. Additionally, it possesses anti-inflammatory and astringent properties due to its high tannin content.
